Reminded of the truths from the study “The life changing power in the blood of Jesus Christ” by Jennifer Kennedy Dean.

Earth is our visual.  God has given us pictures of spiritual truth in His creation.  The more we learn about creation, the more we see the pictures.

The spiritual realm is eternal; the material realm is temporary.

The spiritual realm is substance; the material realm is shadow.

The spiritual realm is reality; the material realm is the picture.

One way God reveals himself is through His creation.  Romans 1:20 ”Since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.”

So what existed first, physical or spiritual reality?

(Lucifer had led his rebellion and been barred from the throne room. The tabernacle existed in heaven before God told Moses to make a copy of it on earth. The Son existed in heaven before he existed on earth.)

When God created the earth, He created a material model of the spiritual realities already in existence.

Spiritual reality is always the causative agent of material reality.  God’s command, Word is invisible, from it came that which is visible.

The material realm is a shadow of the spiritual realm. When a shadow is cast, the shadow is proof that a reality with substance exists.

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen.  For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18

Hebrews11:1 “Hope is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”

Everything in the material realm is shadow.  Solid substance is in the spiritual realm. Earth is a picture, heaven is the reality it pictures.

As I listen for God’s plan for me now, I am doing the things He tells me moment by moment. That includes writing a book that is my testimony to the goodness of God.
